In 2002 St Agatha’s Library was inaugurated in its present form to enrich and renew the faith development of the parishioners and to serve the various ministries within the parish. Situated on the left of the front door of the church, it is open before and after each of the weekend masses. Books are signed out and may be borrowed for a period of four weeks.
The Piety Stall has a beautiful selection of religious items suitable as gifts for the significant sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation and major events in the Church calendar including Christmas and Easter. Additionally mass books, bibles and educational tools are available. Items can be ordered on request. The Piety Stall is located at the front of the Church.
The Sacramental Program welcomes and supports children in our Parish who are seeking the Sacraments of Confirmation, First Holy Communion and Reconciliation. This is a family based program further supplemented with special children’s liturgy sessions run by the Sacramental team and held during weekend Mass time in the weeks leading up to celebrating the Sacrament.
The Sacramental Team are a Parish support group actively involved in the preparation of the children in each of the Sacraments. This involves facilitating workshops and attendance at the each of the ceremonies.
